At Naariti, we understand the invaluable role that small businesses play in our community's economic vitality. We are committed to nurturing and supporting these small businesses as part of our supply chain. Our ethos revolves around collaboration and sustainability, and we actively seek out local artisans and vendors to source materials, goods, and services whenever possible. In this pursuit, we have taken up multiple initiatives, including a factory-wide voter registration drive, providing laptops to our employees’ children so they can continue their education seamlessly through the era of online learning, and holding financial literacy workshops for our labourers.
Voter Registration Drive
Partnering with the NGO MyVoteMyVoice, we hosted a voter registration drive for domestic migrant labourers who relocated to NCR years ago yet did not have voting rights in their adopted state. Voting is essential to being Indian, and we wanted our labourers to have access to their fundamental rights as citizens.
Beyond our initiatives at our manufacturing unit, the company has a long history with social work. The family management has established the Bhai Sahib Ditta Mal & Sons Charitable Trust, which runs the Rishi ashram in Haridwar - one of the most reputable ashrams in the area. In addition to the trust, the family manages two Sikh-minority schools in Delhi: Mata Jai Kaur Public School and Jaspal Kaur Public School. Both institutions are known to provide students with quality education and top-class facilities at an affordable and sustainable price.
